The aim of the training is to promote good practice in medical exposures, particularly in cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) applications in dentistry and oro-maxillo-facial surgery. The key areas to be addressed: justification and benefit-risk assessment of CBCT studies, optimization of radiation protection, avoidance of unintended exposures. Guidance and practical exercises on interpretation of the CBCT findings will be provided. This is the first training of its kind in Estonia.
