Course aims:
•Gaining a basic
understanding of computer numerical control (CNC) machining processes and
operations.
•Gaining an
understanding of translating computer-aided design files into a computer-aided
manufacturing system for tool path generation and ultimately numerical
control code to operate CNC machine tools.

To
broaden
the understanding beyond milling and turning applications, exploring alternate
application for CNC technology as it applies to current and future
manufacturing systems.
