Corporate Entrepreneurship and Design course focuses primarily on entrepreneurial processes and
practices within an existing corporation or enterprise and highlights how
design, design thinking and design processes can be utilized to enhance
entrepreneurial practice, as well as the benefits and challenges of instilling
an entrepreneurial mindset and culture within an established organization.
Upon completion of the course participants will have a greater understanding as
to:
1) The creation and vitalisation
of a design-driven lean and scalable startup culture within an existing or
established corporation.
2) The strategic utilisation of
breakthrough, radical and transformative types of innovation in new and
emerging sectors and factors (ref., Clean Tech, Open Innovation Platforms, the
Internet of Things IoT,), including their particular relation to, and emphasis
on, design, design-thinking and design processes in contemporary innovation
practices.
3) The competitive benefits of a
systemically integrated platform approach to design and entrepreneurial
practice.
