The main aim of the course is to understand the life cycle assessment (LCA) methodology, to learn existing databases and methods of conducting the study, to be familiar with general principles and characteristics of LCA, at the end of the course to be able to apply LCA methodology to a simple case study.
The course is supported by practical classes where each student will develop individual project and learn to use "Open LCA" software to calculate the environmental impact of different products.
