Course aims/objectives: 
Provide knowledge on innovation and its management, product development, technology transfer and other problems in this area. 
Learning outcomes: 
The students having successfully passed the course:  
1) understand and analyse, evaluate and synthesise innovation in the contemporary world;  
2) know the main principles of sustainable development and analyse them;  
3) can formulate innovation related topical problems and know the major schools of thought and development trends;
