The course gives an overview about the problems of atmosphere pollution and protection nowadays, introducing the structure of atmosphere, the main air pollutants, their properties and environmental impact. Additionally this course introduces the processes of atmospheric dispersion and gives examples of the calculations of the processes and equipment for gaseous effluents treatment and their design.
