Often in research the central task is the creation and use of different types of models. The evaluation of the usefulness and accuracy of these models has to be based upon comparison with some measured data. The creation of new models is often also based on thorough analysis of some measured data. Thus, getting, processing, and analyzing data are essential skills for every researcher and this course is meant to aid the doctoral/master students who wish to enhance these skills. The participating students will get acquainted with the most widely used tool data analysis -- the R programming language.

Some previous experience in programming (in whatever language) is highly recommended.
