The course aims to familiarize students with the basics of the Estonian language and culture, to teach pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary, and expressions for simple everyday communication in and outside the university. Within the teaching and learning process, students get to know about the cultural aspects of Estonia, Estonians, their traditions, celebrations, and behavior in different situations to enable students to feel more settled in their new living and studying environment.
