This course explores how health systems have developed, how they operate today, how they are financed, how effective they are in keeping us healthy and achieving its goals through health promotion and health care services delivery. Students learn about the different building blocks of health system in terms of financing, purchasing, governance, care delivery, policies, promotion and connection to other policies (health in all policies). In addition to that, the course seeks to connect the current health system structure to changing trends of digital economics and societies.
