General objective of the subject is to discuss two crucial issues of the modern governance discourse:
a) Governance has become global, but a diversity of forms and modes of Governance has at the same time proven to be resilient and even on the rise;
b) in Governance, policy matters, but implementing it can be as, if not more, important.
The goal of the course is to discuss these two issues in a complementary way, looking in theory and practice at what the main competitors of the global-Western model are, both in Governance and implementation, i.e. public administration and management.
