The central task in research is the development and use of different types of models. The construction of these models with or without the help of machine learning, as well as the evaluation of models usefulness and accuracy, must be based on comparisons with measured data. Consequently, acquiring, processing, and analyzing data are essential skills for every researcher. This course is designed to help doctoral students develop these skills. Participants will become familiar with one of the most widely used tools for data analysis: the Python programming language.
Some previous experience in programming (in whatever language) is highly recommended.
