The goal is to give a students an overview of machine tools and manufacturing processes. Main attention is turned to machining tools as most varied machine group. Also forging, forming, joining and casting equipment is studied. A construction and selection method of machines is examined. Support system of machine tools is studied. Knowledge of technical diagnostic methods and develop the ability to arrange technical diagnostics and maintenance of machine tools is provided.
