ITC8220 Legal aspects of cyber security (2020 autumn; Eneken Tikk)

The aim of this course is to familiarize students with the legal discipline – its purpose, methods and applications. Students will be able to understand legal concepts and terms applicable to cybersecurity as well as the development and use of information and communication technologies. They will be able to assess the legal ramifications and implications of their work and professional activities. Students will be prepared to seek legal advice in conjunction with issues of cybersecurity and participate in legal processes pertaining to their profession.
