The course aims to familiarize students with the basics of the Estonian language and culture, to teach pronunciation, basic grammar, vocabulary, and expressions for simple everyday communication in and outside the university. Within the teaching and learning process, students learn about the cultural aspects of Estonia, about Estonians, their traditions, celebrations, and behavior in different situations to enable feeling more settled in Estonian living and studying environment.
