To give overview of fundamental theories of finance on the level to enable students to start reading papers in specialized journals. The course is organised in the form of lectures and seminars where students get introduction of the main theories and have to go through the extensive list of readings. Main emphasis is on the methods used in papers under discussion to improve students’ ability to apply methods from different core courses.
